The training session stretched until the sun was falling in the sky. Throughout the day shifts of warriors cycled in, taking a few hours from their duties to attend. Panting and exhausted, each would immediately head toward camp afterward, ready for freshkill and some rest before their next duties began. Lightstar also took part, which came as a slight surprise to Riverfall. In the beginning, the leader had attended every session, but lately seemed to have stopped coming. When the white she-cat appeared and silently joined in, Riverfall realized the she-cat looked a little strained. Still, she didn’t allow herself to dwell on it. The sun was going down, the session over, and Stonefrost was padding toward her.
Thunderclan warriors turned toward the camp, padding wearily home and murmuring to each other. Duststorm and Lightstar talked quietly as they made their way back too, and Riverfall watched them go.
